Daily update of my sports trading progress.
I started sports trading (mainly football matches) on Bet Fair at the beginning of February 2012.
Follow my progress in my daily (almost!) updated sports trading diary entries.
Firstly though, I missed out on a fabulous offer for new sports traders to get a free £25 bet – the first time they start sports trading on Bet Fair. So to make sure you don’t miss out on this wonderful offer;
Claim a risk free £25 free bet at Bet Fair, click Bet Fair £25 bet. Make sure when you join the site, that you use or see the code HU4XE6MTR in the relevant voucher area to get your risk free £25 bet.
If HU4XE6MTR doesn’t show in the relevant box when you are filling in the joining page, you might not get your £25 free bet and that would be a shame to miss eh?
Well as you can see from the image, I finished Friday 16th of March 2012 with a Betfair Trading balance of £311.64. I am as usual going to put a few quid of this on a couple of accumulator bets on the horses (if there’s any that take my fancy) and so the Bet Fair trading balance will be reduced slightly before I start trading football today.
If you haven’t yet read about my good fortune at Cheltenham this week, then check out my trading diary here; Sports Trading Diary Entry 3 150312 Part Two.
I started Friday 16th March 2012 with £297.38 and ended the day with £311.64 – a profit of £14.26.
As mentioned in my football trading diary yesterday, I found it difficult yesterday adjusting to the new percentage stakes I was using in football trades on Bet Fair – this is probably because of the large jump in Bet Fair trading bank I made due to my good fortune on the horses, meant that I hadn’t experienced the gradual increase in trading bank and trading stakes one would usually experience, when growing your trading bank from the hundred pound to the three hundred pound level.
I’m now beginning to think that my wife’s suggestion of transferring the other £300 back to my bank account was a good one, cause heaven knows I would have found it even harder trading with a bank of over £600!
Anyway, with such a large in-play football coupon today as it’s a Saturday, with plenty of matches to choose from and the weather being so bad, I reckon as a family we will stay in doors today. I think due to this I will have the chance to enter into loads of football trading opportunities, hopefully once again I will show a profit for the day.
